Hey Guys I’m back again and to start off todays blog post I have question. Have you heard of Chris Van Allsburg?
You probaly have but don’t recognize him, the author of Jumanji, Polar express, and way more. He is one of my teacher’s favorite authors, and now I think he’s one of my favorite authors too. He has written and illustrated 18 picture books, his latest book is The Misadventures of Sweetie Pie. 2 fun facts are that the dog he is holding above is his dog and that in every book of his somewhere in the illustrations he draws his dog, sometime the dogs hard to find and sometimes the dogs easy to find, and second that he only make picture books. You might have heard me say this but Chris isn’t only a author he’s an illustrator too! I know right. I really recommend his books and even if you aren’t a picture book person or think your to old for picture books you should definitely read his books. Click here to find a website about Chris. Bye!
