Hey guys I’m back! Guess what we are in Destin, FL. We drove here and its a long drive and by long I mean a 11 1/2 hour drive, we drove through about 3 states to get here. I only got up once or twice times for snacks so when we got here it felt weird to walk. We left the house at 6:00AM and reached at around  5:30 PM, then after that we had to unpack and that took a little while then after that we had to g0 to a shop because our hotel room had a kitchen so we went to the shop t0 buy groceries so we could cook food. After we did that we had dinner, then we went on a walk on the main street so that leaves me to right now where I am writing my blog post for today. Okay now I have to go to bed its pretty late and I’m sleepy but come back tomorrow so you can see what my hotel room looks like. Bye!

Cherries Slice of Life 4/10

Image result for cherry

Hey guys I’m back! Today I’m going to talk about Cherries. Since I was about 4yrs old I have liked many fruits, the fruits I like are watermelon, cherry, mango, and sometimes berries, but today I’m talking about cherries. I got the love for cherries from when we went to Michigan with some family friends and we got to go to this farm which was 10 acres (which is a lot) and they only grew cherry trees. We got to pick as many cherries as we wanted, we got a bag and a 1/2. At the check out place they had all kinds of cherry items, we bought cherry donuts and when I took a bite it was DELICIOUS and that was when my love for cherries began. So to this day I love Cherries by themselves, on sundaes/ice cream, and plain Maraschino cherries, but out of them all I like Maraschino cherries the best. Okay, time to go but keep coming back to see how I am doing in the challenge.

Mrs. Harrod Slice of Life 4/9

Hey guys I’m back! Today I’m talking about my wonderful teacher Mrs. Harrod. The reason she is so wonderful is because she stretches us in ways that are fun but also teach you something. Right now we are working on this one paragraph from the book, The Great Alone. Its about a girl looking out of a plane window seeing Alaska. The way she stretched us was the other day she told us to go to the playground and write down every single the you observed, then today we read the paragraph the author had written then we had to use as many of the same words as we could but instead of describing Alaska we had to describe our playground, fun but challenging. That is only one of the reasons why Mrs. Harrod is a good teacher I would tell you but I doubt all the reasons would fit and by the time you finished reading them it would be night time. So that is it for today but my point was that Mrs. Harrod is one of the best teachers you could have! Bye!

THIS is the link to her blog.

Mathnasium Slice of Life 4/7

Hey  guys! I’m back and so far I have kept up with the challenge. Today I’m going to talk about Mathnasium. Mathnasium is a math learning center and you go for 1 hour. I go everyday in the evening except for Wednesday,Friday, and Saturday. I don’t go on Friday and Saturday during school times because their closed and I don’t go on Wednesday because I have Ballet,Tap, and Jazz. During the summer their open on Mon-Thurs evenings and on Friday in the morning. You do pages of math and every page you do you get a star on your star card, and depending on how many star cards you spend you can get cool prizes like beats, nintendo switchs, iPods, and way more. I have been at Mathnasium for a year so I have 300 cards. Mathnasium is really fun I really recommend this because they help you if you are a little behind in class then they help you keep up with class and if your doing good keeping up then you start getting ahead of class, and don’t worry they teach you math but in fun, cool ways. I really do recommend this place its really fun and makes you super smart. Bye! Tell down in the comments if you go here or have heard of it.

P.S. Its only a math center no language arts. Bye!

Chris Van Allsburg Slice of Life 4/6

Hey Guys I’m back again and to start off todays blog post I have question. Have you heard of Chris Van Allsburg?

You probaly have but don’t recognize him, the author of Jumanji, Polar express, and way more. He is one of my teacher’s favorite authors, and now I think he’s one of my favorite authors too. He has written and illustrated 18 picture books, his latest book is The Misadventures of Sweetie Pie. 2 fun facts are that the dog he is holding above is his dog and that in every book of his somewhere in the illustrations he draws his dog, sometime the dogs hard to find and sometimes the dogs easy to find, and second that he only make picture books. You might have heard me say this but Chris isn’t only a author he’s an illustrator too! I know right. I really  recommend his books and even if you aren’t a picture book person or think your to old for picture books you should definitely read his books. Click here to find a website about Chris. Bye! Comment down below if you have read any of his books.

The False Prince Slice of Life 4/5

Hey guys I’m back! So right now in class we are reading the false prince through audible which is an audio book reader, it is soooooo good. I really recommend it. Its about these orphans that try to fill up for the prince which we’re pretty sure is dead so no-one can know that he is dead. The main characters name is Sage; above is a picture of what I think looks most similar to Sage(in my imagination). Right now we are about 1/2 of the way through, I can’t wait to see who the prince is going to be, but I think I know who it’s going to be. I have to leave now; comment down below if you have read it or if you have heard of it. Bye!

ELA AIR State Test Part 1 Slice of Life 4/3

Hi again, today we had to take the AIR state test for ELA and we had to write a multi-paragraph and it was tiring we only got 90 min (1 hour 30 min) and kept on writing till the last 5 min, I think. Tomorrow we have to take the second part of the ELA test. Whats even worse is we also have to take the science AIR state test and the math AIR state test, not fun. But the good things are we have spring break then we go back to testing and the second thing is that other than the MAP tests and AIMS Web tests we don’t have to take any other big important tests at school. Okay now I have to go, comment down below if you have to take the AIR state test or any other big important test at school. Bye, keep coming back to see more from me.
